Base Oils:

Our beautiful artisan soaps are made entirely by hand, using organic and sustainably produced palm and coconut oils, both of which are Vegan, Lactose Free, Gluten Free, Glutamate Free, BSE Free, No Hydrogenated or Partially Hydrogenated Oils, No Preservatives.

Botanicals:

We grow or forage a few of the botanicals used in our soaps and we work with farmers and growers in the US, UK, and Canada to source the rest.

Essential Oils:

With so many options available to scent soaps and cosmetics: natural essential oils, bio-equivalent (lab-produced) essential oils, and fragrance oils (which are primarily petroleum-based), Century Farmhouse continues to use only fine, natural essential oils sourced directly from farms or from companies that work directly with farmers and producers around the world to produce high-quality essential oils. Occasionally there will be a break in availability of certain oils. We choose to then retire or take a break ourselves from creating the soaps that use them rather than substituting with lower quality ingredients.
