We've discovered the fun of a day away - a creative retreat that mingles a bit of nature with the scents and colors of hand-poured soaps. We'll start our day with a hike along the wooded trails of Cedar Valley Retreat Center, stopping to see passing wildlife and perhaps even the swans that call the pond their home.

Then we'll play!

Melt & Pour soap making is an easy and quick craft that also allows for artistic expression. Choose the shapes and sizes of your soaps from among the many soap molds available. Learn about mixing scents and colors as you play with natural essential oils and soap colorants. Each participant will create 5 - 8 soaps, depending on size, and the soaps will go home with you that day. Packaging to make little gifts is available too.

Lunch is included - as is the view of the llamas in the field outside the Open Wings Art Studio.
